Debits and Credits
For the first week or so we will study Debits and Credits. Please be obsessive about learning this. True, it is likely the single most abstract and, for some, most difficult topic you will cover this semester--in all of your classes.
However, Debits and Credits are the basis of Bookkeeping and Accounting. You absolutely can learn it--but you must make a concentrated effort in every class during the first three weeks. Master the first steps and the following steps are easy.
